Automated localization of logos and handwritten signatures in scanned document is a promising facility for many business activities. We describe here a discriminative framework for detecting logos and signatures from a document of any type. The method is based on the classification of segmented image regions using a set of features. The segmentation is done for both known logo and signature regions, and non-logo & non-signature regions, and feature sets are extracted for both positive (containing logo or signature) and negative segments.
The goal of the project is the control IRobot Create with a gamepad controller and drive it. As it is drawn in the designs, we would like to control robot wirelessly. In order to do that, gamepad is connected to computer with bluetooth. The computer is connected to Xbee to transfer data to its pair, which is connected to the board. Therefore, the communication between computer and board is wireless also. In addition, the communication between computer and board is ensured by the protocol FIRTD which will be designed by me.
MoodMiner, is a questionnaire, analyzes the words that subjects used and shows the recent mood of the subjects. We analyzed moods of all subjects and tried to find if there is a relation between subjects’ moods and the words they used.
Software testing is an important but time-consuming step in the software development cycle. One of the most popular testing technique is manually writing unit tests. However, this technique lacks coverage and is not time-ecient. Thus, the gain from automating software testing is great. One of such tools is KLEE and it promises a high coverage. In this project we aimed to increase the performance of KLEE by decreasing its runtime. The costliest operation of KLEE is the calls made to the constraint solver which is proportional to the number of constraints contained in the query.
The RoboCup Rescue Agent Simulation League (RSL) is a challenging competition to test multi-agent planning methods for disaster mitigation. The simulator creates a disaster scenario with three main tasks for the agents; firefighting, removing blockades on the road, and taking civilians to the refugees.
