Developing a Mixed Reality Interface for Efficient Robot Task Planning and Simulation

Developing a Mixed Reality Interface for Efficient Robot Task Planning and Simulation

Description:

This project proposes the creation of a mixed reality (MR) visualization interface to facilitate the planning and simulation of robot tasks. Utilizing the capabilities of augmented reality (AR) applications and headsets, such as the Meta Quest 3’s Passthrough feature, the project aims to develop an immersive system that allows users to interact with and simulate robot tasks in a virtual environment. This approach could significantly enhance the efficiency of task planning and provide a more intuitive platform for users to engage with robotic systems. The project will explore the potential of MR technology in robotics, focusing on user experience, system integration, and the practical implications of implementing such technology in real-world scenarios.
