I. OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of In-Service Training is to contribute to the education of the students of the Faculty of Engineering by providing them practical, technological, as well as managerial experience and knowledge in nonacademic organizations.
The student has to register at the beginning of each each Academic Semester. The registration process is online through the registration systemOBIKAS. If you are a newcomer, please follow this tutorial.
After passing the Qualifying Exam, the student has to register to his/her advisor's section of CMPE790: PHD THESIS.
In the first semester, a Thesis Progress Committee (TPC) is formed with three full-time professors*. One of these members should be from another department or university..
The PhD program at the CmpE department consists of three stages:
Courses (C) + Qualifying Exam (Q) + Thesis (T)
The student is responsible for checking the correct semester type during registration to the Academic Semester and take the necessary actions to correct if there is an error.
