- After registering to the University, the student has to register to each semester through OBIKAS: http://registration.boun.edu.tr
- Summer term is not an academic semester, i.e., the student need not register if he/she does not want to take a course.
- The time-span for the MS program is 2 years. It can be extended to 3 years. Afterwards, the student can continue but he/she loses all exclusive rights that are defined for a student.
- If the student wants to take a leave for one semester, then this leave is counted as one semester in the time-span. If the student has some valid excuses such as serious health problems (physical or mental) and the mandatory military service, then this leave will not be counted as one semester. Temporary leave due to job requirements is not regarded as a valid excuse.
- If a student does not register in two successive semesters, then OBIKAS access of the student is disabled until a valid English exam score is submitted to the Registrar's Office.
