Lale Akarun, Uluslararası Örüntü Tanıma Derneği IAPR’ın Başkan Yardımcısı Seçildi

10-14 Ocak 2021 arasında sanal olarak düzenlenen Uluslararası Örüntü Tanıma Konferansında (ICPR), konferansı düzenleyen Uluslararası Örüntü tanıma derneği IAPR’ın genel kurulu yapıldı. 50 ülkeden 65 temsilci, 2020-2022 tarihleri arasında görev yapacak yönetim kurulunu seçmek için oy kullandı. Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği öğretim üyesi Prof. Dr. Lale Akarun, başkan yardımcısı seçildi. Yeni yönetim kurulu şöyle:

Lale Akarun Elected Vice President of International Association of Pattern Recognition

International Conference of Pattern Recognition (ICPR), organized by the Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR) was held virtually this year.  The 2020-2022 Executive Committee of IAPR  was elected in the governing board meeting of IAPR, attended by 65 delegates from 50 national organizations. Prof. Lale Akarun was elected as the vice president. The new executive Committee consists of:

2020 Publicity Events for Prospective Students

Due to the precautions taken against the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic, all publicity events will be held online this year. You can find information about our department in one of the following ways:

Open Day for Graduate Programs

Due to the physical distancing rules, the candidates of the graduate programs can participate the open day over the Zoom platform.

There will be presentations and seminars on May 2, 2020. During the seminars there will also be a Help Desk to answer questions about registration. Our department participates in the Open Day with two presentations. Software Engineering Presentation will be held between 13:50 and 14:30 and Computer Engineering seminar will be between 14:40 and 15:20
