- After the interviews, the professors send their evaluations to the Graduate Studies Coordinator. These evaluations are merged for each applicant.
- The Department Board studies professors' evaluations, documents and reference letters of each applicant to reach at a solid decision.
- The department may accept an applicant even when a few documents are missing. In this case, this is a "conditional accept", i.e., the MS candidate has to complete all necessary documents before registering to the university.
- The departmental decision is officially announced from the website of the Institute of Graduate Studies in Science and Engineering. Sometimes, the department might contact with the accepted students earlier so as to make the students complete the missing documents till the registration time.
