Autonomous Mini Drone Controller

The new FPV (First-Person View) drones can be controlled from Arduino / IOS phones through WiFi communication. These drones can provide Real-Time Video Streaming. In order to process this video streaming, drones should be connected directly to a computer.


The project involves:


  • Reverse Engineering for learning the applied protocol of the Drone's WiFi communication. (The message types, parameter values and port addresses)

  • Getting Video Streaming from Drone and Showing Data on RViz (Ros Visualization)

  • Flying Related Commands via computer using ROS (Robot Operating System) Topics.


The project requires following skills:


  • WiFi Network Knowledge
