The aim of the project is to come up with a docker for our new NVIDIA DGX-1 with V100 server with 40,960 cores (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/data-center/dgx-1). There are several dockers configured for deep learning on this device, but our focus is designing a GPU simulator for Nanonetworking/Molecular Communications.
Eclipse has earned a good reputation in the academia and the industry thanks to its flexibility. However, it has also become too complex, especially for newbees.
The task in this project is to design and develop a simplified/restricted version of Eclipse. You will not develop the IDE from scratch, but modify the open source code of Eclipse such that:
Virtual Window aims to make 3D computer graphics more intuitive to interact with. It attempts to match the viewing origin with the position of the actual viewer’s eyes in real time, so that the image projected on the screen does not remain static regardless to the movement of the viewer. Instead, with the techniques of this project, the image on the screen changes as if the screen was a see-through window with 3D objects behind.
Twitter is a medium that allows information to spread very fast. It is hard to find the source of the informationg and confirm its truth. I have developed a tweet analysis web tool, TweeTrust, to find the first instance of a URL, hashtag or an image to help find the source of the information that is being spread on Twitter. The users can then comment on the validity of the information and share their thoughts. A list of fast spreading local trends also can help find the news on the home page.
