My research focuses on applying artificial intelligence methods to increase the efficiency of requirements engineering processes and artifacts. I am interested in developing tools to solve social and technical challenges for various requirements engineering activities.
I was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University, the Netherlands between 2016 and 2018 before joining Boğaziçi University. I got my Ph.D. degree from University of Trento, Italy in 2016 on requirements engineering for socio-technical systems.
My RE4DigiTR (Requirements Engineering for Digital Transformation) project research is funded funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey between 2020 and 2023. I am one of the program chairs of the AIRE’2020 workshop, and serve as the social media chair of RCIS’2020. I regularly serve on the program committee of the international conferences such as REFSQ, CAISE, and ER.
I am looking for Ph.D, masters, and undergraduate students to work with me for my TUBITAK 2232 RE4DigiTR (Requirements Engineering for Digital Transformation Project).
MS student Tuğçe Güneş’s paper on generating goal models from user stories using NLP is accepted to be published as part of the proceedings of the RE-NEXT track of RE20.
