About
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University, Turkey. I lead the requirements engineering group.
My research focuses on applying artificial intelligence methods to increase the efficiency of requirements engineering processes and artifacts. I am interested in developing tools to solve social and technical challenges for various requirements engineering activities.
I was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University, the Netherlands between 2016 and 2018 before joining Boğaziçi University. I got my Ph.D. degree from University of Trento, Italy in 2016 on requirements engineering for socio-technical systems.
My RE4DigiTR (Requirements Engineering for Digital Transformation) project research is funded funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey between 2020 and 2023. I am one of the program chairs of the AIRE’2020 workshop, and serve as the social media chair of RCIS’2020. I regularly serve on the program committee of the international conferences such as REFSQ, CAISE, and ER.
